New Homeschool Co-op Forming 2026: Eureka Learning Community

Eureka Learning Community is looking for like minded families who would like to build a co-op together. The founder, Nasima Pfaffl, envisions a co-op that will be a nature and literacy based, inclusive, urban farm homeschool non-profit cooperative.

Our founding mission is to foster children’s delight, exploration, and knowledge of their world and the social, emotional, and intellectual skills they will need to succeed as thriving members of our human family.

We will be a cooperative of families and educators building a community of learning together. The classes we offer, and the age groups we have, will depend on the families who voice interest/participate in doing a co-op together.

What is a homeschool co-op? Co-ops can have lots of different structures, but usually families work together to offer group learning experiences to their children. Parents are expected to participate in different ways. Some may offer to lead a class for a certain age group, or bring snacks, or help clean up. Kids get the advantage of learning and playing in a group-parents benefit from being in a community to share support, teaching, and fun.

Art and STEM Classes, Play Groups & Teen Hang Outs

Eureka Learning offers STEAM classes to the homeschool community. Think outside the box, be creative, invent and have fun with your maker skills. Come do process art and learn more about the engineering and design process.

We also host play groups for younger kids and teen hang outs, D&D groups, board game hangouts etc. Check out our listings for what’s happening this month.

Orton-Gillingham (OG) Reading and Spelling Tutoring
